Oh, I am so excited to share this post with you! I was recently asked to participate in the January reveal of some brand spankin' new Paper Smooches Stamps designed by Kim Hughes! Here's what Kim has to say:
Paper Smooches is showing off their CHA release during the entire month of January. 37 designers are participating along with the PS DT, so there will be a ton for projects to inspire you this month. Paper Smooches is known for their fun and whimsical hand-drawn stamps. They decided that it was time to broaden their product line to include DIES and wood mount stamps!
You will find a new blog link (or two) to follow every day in January at the
PS Blog.
Paper Smooches is giving away $500. Worth of product! Hidden on FIVE of the participating blogs is a prize package worth $100. each. The prize includes a variety of stamp sets, wood mounts and dies. Comment on as many blogs as you can to increase your chances to be one of the five winners.
Deadline is January 30
th – winners will be announced on the
PS Blog on January 31
st.
So, without further ado, here's my peek using two sets the Kibitzing Icons and Kibitzing Sampler (don't you just love those names?)
I love that Kim has designed a beautiful and fun Judaica set. It has cute sayings and traditional sayings alike! I especially like that she has provided for many more events other than just Chanukah, like this card for Rosh Hashana. For this first card I wanted to keep it pretty classic and simple.
For my next card I just wanted to highlight the playfulness of Kim's stamps. So, here's my second take combining the two sets once again.

I love that little Chai Five saying! hee hee! For those who don't know "chai" means life and is very symbolic in Judaism.
Here's a close up of the border of this card which is a little less traditional.

Other products used:
Hero Arts Inks in Ocean and Wet Cement
Jenni Bowlin Ink in Lemon Drop (it is sooo yummy)
EK Success Punches (yes, I still use them even though I have a Silhouette).
Basic Grey's Fact or Fiction 6x6 paper pad
Studio Calico Wood Veneer sprayed with white Mr Huey and
Zing Embossing Powders
Now if you haven't been following the PS blog and all the sneaks, I suggest you go now! There is so much to see!
Love the crispness of the stamps, and the cards are awesome!!
